Professional Pilot Flight Training Courses
Air Reldan, Inc. offers flight training for most pilot ratings in airplanes, both single engine and multiengine aircraft. The following is a list of the courses offered which will lead to a career as a professional pilot in aviation. The courses listed may be taken individually over a longer period of time, or they may be taken in an accelerated manner one right after the other, depending on how quickly you wish to complete the curriculum. The following is a pricelist of the approximate cost for each course. The cost of an individual course is not guaranteed, however the full packages listed below are guaranteed when purchased at the start of the course.
The individual course prices are listed two ways, first as minimum hours necessary and second, as full course prices. Minimum course prices assume you already have the flight time necessary to qualify for the license or rating. Full course prices include flight time necessary to acquire the minimum time necessary to qualify for the license. For example, someone who starts towards his commercial license needs a total of 250 logged hours to qualify for the license. If he already has the necessary logged hours, he need only complete the commercial maneuvers. On the other hand, if he begins the course with only a total of 50 logged hours, then he will have to build additional hours to qualify for the license. The cost for this will be listed as full course prices. In all cases, the fee charged by the written test and the examiner is paid by the student directly and is not figured into the price of the course.
Air Reldan offers Individual and Full Course packages.
Individual Professional Flight Courses
The first step towards your professional career is the PRIVATE PILOT'S LICENSE. The FAA minimums required for the private license are from 35 to 40 hours of flight time, although most people who are serious about flying and fly regularly will take 42 to 48 hours and can complete the program in as little as three weeks.
|Private Pilot Course||40 Hours||$7,495.00|
After obtaining the private license, the next step is an INSTRUMENT RATING. The FAA minimum for this rating is also 35 to 40 hours, and at least 50 hours of pilot-in-command cross-country time. This rating will take about three to five weeks to obtain.
|Instrument Rating||45 Hours Dual||$7,875.00|
Your MULTI-ENGINE RATING will be obtained next as you build flight time towards your commercial license. This rating is a 10 hour course which takes about three to six days, and will qualify you in multi-engine aircraft.
|Multi-engine Rating VFR||9 Hours Dual & 1 Hour Check Ride||$3,995.00|
|Multi-engine Rating IFR||14 Hours Dual & 1 Hour Check Ride||$5,995.00|
Your COMMERCIAL COURSE will consist of various maneuvers such as lazy eights, chandelles, gliding spirals, eights on pylons, and certain other maneuvers. Building your flight time and preparing for this license will take about four to eight weeks.
|Commercial License Single Engine Land||20 Hours Dual, 5 Solo, 11 Dual Complex Aircraft||$Price on Request|
The FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR'S LICENSE will be obtained following the commercial license. In this course, you will become proficient in performing the commercial and private maneuvers from the right pilot's seat. Foremost in this course will be your ability to explain the maneuvers as you perform them, critique the students performance and evaluate them in the flight environment as well as in various ground briefing situations. Teaching techniques and qualifications will be paramount in this course. The time involved in this course will be two to four weeks.
|Certified Flight Instructor Course||$Price on Request|
The INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTOR'S LICENSE may be added to your flight instructor's license, allowing you to train instrument students for the instrument rating. During this course you will learn to fly the aircraft from the right seat on instruments while explaining various instrument procedures and techniques. This course will take approximately two weeks.
|Instrument Flight Instructor Course||15 Hours Dual Instruction||$2,695.00|
Obtaining the MULTI-ENGINE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR'S LICENSE will allow you to teach students in multi-engine aircraft. In this course you will learn the principles of teaching in multi-engine aircraft in order to train pilots for the multi-engine rating. This course will take three to seven days. Two prices are given for this course because a multi-engine flight instructor needs 15 hours PIC (Pilot in Command) in multi-engine aircraft to teach. Applicants who already have at least 5 hours multi-engine PIC may take the 10 hour course, others will have to have 15 hours to qualify to take the flight check.
|Multi-engine Flight Instructor Course||9 Hours Dual Instruction, 1 Hour Check Ride||$3,995.00|
|15 Hours Dual Instruction, 1 Hour Check Ride||$6,325.00|
